I feel like this week brought some big changes to the smallest people in our family.  It's like we've hit a milestone and are moving on to the next phase of life.

~Crate wakes up from naps and nighttime completely dry.  He loves is undies.
~Lumber J crawls! He's got it down. My floor has to stay much more clean than it has in the past as he's already found "leftovers" to munch on.

They really do grow up too fast.

Next week is the last full week of the school year. I'm praying there is no homework. The boys have been working on narrowing down their summer reading list.  I told them the goal this summer is five chapter books. I think Carson might choose the Harry Potter books...we shall see.  Boss is leaning towards reading more Magic Tree House books. I know if I agree to let them build a massive fort for the summer they will spend hours reading in there.  The only question is where will the fort be? In the dining room like last summer? Heaven help me have patience with the summer imagination.

3 days no accidents.  I think it's official...just one in diapers!

I love to see his cute little bum run around the house in undies.  I'd post a picture of his bum but that might be a little embarrassing in 20 years.

Right now I hear three of the four boys outside playing with friends. I think there are 7 boys total outside. It's days like this I'm grateful for descent neighborhood kids, happy boys, grass, sprinklers and a splash pad to keep them all happy and entertained. Dinner is almost done and I even got a 15 minute power nap in today. I feel like it was a successful day. Oh, not to mention I think Crate is potty trained. It's been two full days of no problems but I'm not declaring it official until we actually go out of the house. I want to see if he can hold it in the car or store until we get to a toilet. If this is official I won't miss buying diapers for two children. The simple things in life bring the biggest smiles. And just because...

Lumber J. is loving his new view while shopping. Only problem is Crate now will climb out of the back of the cart every chance he gets. Makes shopping really fun for me...not.

This is what happens when you're the youngest....

and you fall asleep!
you get covered in hats!

I think I have really learned the meaning of sleep deprived. I have Lumber Jack to thank for this. I have about 103 different blog posts...in my head...that's the problem. We went camping for three days last week. I am still doing laundry. I've worn my scout shirt for two nights in a row, I don't think it'll ever be one of my favorite 100 shirts. I don't even own 100 shirts. I have a TON of pics on the computer to update the blog with...someday. Can't wait for school to be out. Did I mention that the last day of school can't come soon enough? I've spent more time than usual at the boys school the last couple weeks. I like it there. I forgot to take Boss' lunch to school today. He was not happy. I failed as a mother. I forgot to make sure the tooth fairy came for Boss last night. I'm thinking it has something to do with the sleep deprivation thing. I long for a nap during the day. Lumber J is up. Time to go.

Very Quick Update

~Lumber Jack has two teeth, almost crawls and says "mama" all the time now.
~Boss finished t-ball
~Carson started coach pitch baseball (read: Saturdays mornings are now shot)
~Pops had his longest Sunday yet...left the house at 5:40am and came home at 8:30pm. It was great cause it made dinner time really easy for me!
~I finally got around to reading The Hunger Games ~maybe I'll see the movie
~Everyone was pretty sick one right after the other...I did record amounts of laundry, literally. We all lost weight, even poor Lumber Jack.
~Backyard splash pad is ready for the summer...the boys are enjoying it.
~Boss took his first field trip and was stoked to ride on the bus. He was even more excited that Pops was his chaperon.
~Buster took his first AIMS test
~I spent hours organizing the boys bedroom, dejunked and built a shelving unit for their precious "stuff" I was pleased that I got it all together all by myself!
~Dejunked and organized the playroom and Crate has spent many hours in there once again.
~Everyone is healthy again and happy
