Blessing day

Little Lumber was blessed on October 16, 2011 by his Pops. It was an awesome blessing. We did it that day since family was still in town from the wedding and because I knew that if we didn't do it soon Lumber Jack wouldn't fit into his blessing outfit. :) My Aunt made this blessing outfit for Buster when he was born and each boy has been able to wear it since. Lumber started out big and was getting bigger by them minute so we needed to get that taken care of. He didn't cry during the blessing and was awake the whole time. I considered doing a luncheon afterwards like I did with the three other boys but most my family wasn't able to stay around for it and Pops was scheduled with meetings a good chunk of the afternoon so he wouldn't be around and because of a few other things it just worked out better to pass on one this time. I enjoyed spending the Sunday afternoon with the boys.
