A knock on the door and what is it?
Garden fresh cucumbers and zucchini...yumm. Thanks ladies.

Today didn't quite turn out as planned, but why not make the most of it, right?
To spare the details this day was supposed to be one of pj's, movies and 409. You see somewhere between the last 5 days a toy, laundry, dish and clutter bomb went off and I have ignored it too long. Last night I went to bed with dinner dishes still on the table because we ate then ran out of the house for a good ol' fashioned game night with friends we don't see very often. We stayed out too late and were too tired to clean up. So today Boston and I were planning on not getting dressed, he had a plethora of movies to choose from and I had a full bottle of 409 ready to be sprayed. Then we woke up...Brandon needed our help. That meant showers and clothes. yuck. The laundry was so over do I even had to put dirty clothes on Boston. I know gross but it was better than going out in public in a diaper. By 9:30 we were off. I decided not to get irritated but to enjoy driving around the valley while singing "I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee" 84 times with my two year old. We even stopped for a lunch date together and it wasn't McDonald's! Tables and chairs were involved. It was quite enjoyable to have a one-on-one conversation with the little guy and he was well behaved. We talked about everything from Thomas the Train to Elmo to counting all the napkins on the table. As much as I long to hold a precious new baby of my own and have three little munchkins to help around the house I basked in the moment with my current "baby". He's was so much fun to hang out with. Thanks Boston for helping me to avoid the 409 bottle and share a yummy toasted Quizno's sand which with you, I had so much fun!

Halloween 2008!
It's a miracle...there are pictures on my blog! I finally got my camera fixed, it's been broke since February. I'm sure excited to have it back right in time for the Holiday's.
We enjoyed our Halloween day...even though I and to physically feed my kids dinner, yes I shoved it down their throat, constantly remind them the candy in the bucket wasn't for them but for the trick-or-treaters, and force them to stop eating the candy and go to bed.
Thanks to "marmie" (aka grandma) for coming out and spending our Halloween with us! Thanks for the candy also...we can never have too much of it!
Carson was Darth Vader...shocker I know. He enjoyed wearing his costume and dressing up while collecting all the candy he could.
Then there was Boston in Thomas the Train. He was in heaven. I'm starting to think he worships Thomas. He has slept with the costume since we got it on Wednesday. He wasn't in the mood to get his picture taken so this is the best I could do. I do have to say he was soooo cute and excited to wear Thomas.
We were able to collect lots of candy from the neighbors then walk down a few houses to a fun Halloween party that the kids really enjoyed! Needless to say we were all very ready for bed.

It was a crummy afternoon yesterday...but again while driving and being really irritated I tried to think of blessings. Low and behold there were some...
1. I found a last minute babysitter
2.There was light traffic as I hurried home from Scottsdale
3. Brandon accomplished an errand for me
4. Friends who are willing to give of old Halloween costumes

The beauty in today was watching Boston ride up and down the sidewalk on his tricycle. You see, he got the trike for Christmas last year and rides it everyday but just in the last few days he has figured out how to use the pedals. His excitement is enthralling. Today as I sat outside and cheered him on as he taught me a great lesson..."Never give up, someday you'll get it."

It's Yoga time again!
Because of not feeling well I've taken the last two weeks off yoga...however, I'm back now!
Yoga will start again tomorrow morning at 5:15! Anyone's welcome!

I needed this... a date with my boys. Being so sick I didn't spend any fun time with boys over the past week but today was different. I picked up Carson early from school much to his surprise and the three of us headed out for a day of fun and fun is what we had! Then they were able to go with me to teach my yoga class tonight and we didn't get home until 7pm. We we're gone all day and I really enjoyed this "mother/sons" date. Today I'm thankful for being able to spend the entire day outside and laugh with my two boys.
