Sometimes I wish...
weeds grew in as flowers instead of themselves.
children had a volume button
and a sleep button
and an obedient button.
floors mopped themselves.
the body healed itself.
if it looks like rain than it always rains.
people really tried to walk in each others shoes
and not judge.
trees trimmed themselves.
there was a designated hour each day for uninterrupted scripture study.
careers paid money.
inexperienced real estate agents looked to their broker for help.
children were always grateful.
the Constitution of the United States was regarded as law as it should be.
the U.S. was still a true democracy.
peoples votes counted.
money was spent wisely.
blessings were recognized.
optimism was a character trait possessed by all.
freedom was found around the globe.
dinner always tasted good.
little boys always relieved of themselves directly in the porcelain throne and not the surrounding floor space.
people accepted and lived the gospel.
attending the temple wasn't such an ordeal.
we had a pool.
Just a few wishes for when that genie finally pops out of the bottle I rub everyday.
