Pops worked from home today and I realized how much I miss him being gone. I was able to run out and get Buster from school without having to wake up Crate. It was also nice to call him out for dinner and have him eat with us. It's seriously been awhile.
Buster had an assembly today since he made the Honor Roll at school. Pops came with us to congratulate him and watch him get his award. I hope he keeps up the good grades.
He seemed pretty happy to get his award and even waved at us while sitting with his class. I was surprised he wasn't to "cool" to acknowledge his parents. It's nice that in some ways he hasn't reached that stage yet.
Looking forward to bed tonight.
